Since her first visit to Uganda in 2010, Jennifer has cultivated a strong, mission-driven commitment to the people and communities served by Sychar Springs International. Drawing on her professional background as a Certified Public Accountant specializing in nonprofit accounting and auditing, she is well-positioned to strengthen Sychar’s financial stewardship, governance, and accountability frameworks. Her expertise will support sustainable growth, enhance donor confidence, and advance Sychar’s vision of expanding its international reach while maintaining excellence in transparency and operational integrity.
Growing up in Uganda, Jonah witnessed firsthand the profound social, economic, and health challenges caused by limited access to clean and reliable water. Motivated by a deep commitment to service and supported by extensive experience in community development and social work, he took decisive action in 2011 by installing the region’s first solar-powered water well. This pioneering initiative became the foundation of his broader vision for Sychar Springs International.
Sychar Springs International was established to deliver sustainable, technology-driven water solutions that address both immediate needs and long-term community resilience. Centered on local empowerment, environmental stewardship, and scalable impact, the organization works to improve health outcomes, strengthen livelihoods, and foster self-sufficiency in underserved communities.
